A game of words

Strawberry Holiday is one of my flickr contacts and as i recently discovered ,a very creative and talented person.I had the pleasure of meeting her today in her Prodigiosus II,when she and her friend caught me taking some snapshots there .They were both so kind and let me play .The place is still under construction but everyone can visit and play.Because that is what is all about.Strawberry is creating places for us to have fun.I wouldn’t call this otherwise than pure generosity.I know i had fun and i’m going back!Of course ,except the fun,don’t forget that Prodigiosus is an art work.But you’d better take the feel for yourselves,and i’m sure you will agree.Thank you so much,Strawberry!

Reynard the fox

That CIA is living a Second Life,it’s known to almost everybody by now.Some wonderful people have already covered this issue like Harper Ganesvoort here, Matt Harley here  and Hamlet Au here.And probably  others that i ‘m not aware of their particular posts,i’m sorry.

Now comes the part i like.The codename for the CIA project for watching virtual worlds is Reynard.You can also read this article for details on Intendblog.

And who is Reynard? (Indeed the guy naming this project has a good sense of  humour!)

About Reynard the fox :

hero of several medieval European cycles of versified animal tales that satirize contemporary human society. Though Reynard is sly, amoral, cowardly, and self-seeking, he is still a sympathetic hero, whose cunning is a necessity for survival. *every single word of Reynard’s description shows how symbolic the name of the project is.Triumph of craft over brute strength?Isengrim ,the bad wolf?Reynard’s cunning is a necessity for survival.Yup!True!

Now what can a poor fashion blogger in virtual worlds contribute to this issue with her poor english?Not much.Hmmm,maybe,just maybe some styling directions for the female “Reynards” in Second Life?

My thought was to bring Reynard from medieval forests to today’s virtual gardens and turn him into a female.

So, if i was a secret agent in Second Life,i’d wear the following:

 

Since spring’s on the way ,i’d pass immediately to shorts,oh yes.My outfit would be the Birdwatcher suit (symbolic too?) in khaki from Shai.I’d wear my Akeyo chucks turned to olive .I would cover my face with Cake Tortouise shell (tartarouge) la femme glasses and MG fashions brown leather cap.I’d go anywhere with my Telephoto lens camera bought from Icing.I’d also wear the BSD Citizen belt. Yes,yes it would be so obvious i’m “watching”.But then ,if it was so obvious,noone would believe i’m really a “watcher”,right?

I have been thinking a lot about it……After all,i’m Reynard the fox….

P.S.UPDATE NOTE: Since i’m not doing a separate post for this,i’d just want to note here,thank you to all of you who helped me finding a new name for this blog,but the truth is after a month of trying i temporarily  (and who knows for how long) quit the idea of changing the name.I didn’t find anything that would make me wow,omg,woot woot etc.

Rich girl in Bellagio

Time goes by so quickly…it’s already been more than 2 months since i last saw the rich girl.Well, today i called her…it would be a pity not to share this place with her.This is where she belongs after all…

Klimt,Miro and Juria Yoshikawa

If you’re wondering what Gustave Klimt,Juan Miro and Juria Yoshikawa have in common,the answer is very simple.Colors!Vivid bright colors in every possible combination.

I’ve expressed my love for Lady Thera’s creations in the past.And i’ll do it again.Thera never stops to amaze me.Her “painting” dresses are so pretty,not only because they’re inspired by famous paintings (and i love that idea) but because they do carry this “art feeling” in the most impressive way.

So let’s talk about Klimt first (above).The dress is the portrait of Adele Bloch.A pic is not enough for the outfit cause this skirt has the reflections of the  golden leaves Klimt used to use in his paintings and they actually show on walking,changing with the blue and red parts.Marvellous.

Hi there!Just a pic to show you my new amazing Artisan outfit verde from House of Rfyre .As all of their outfits (at least all i own) this was totally inspiring for making time travels…Of course there are a lot of options for wearing it,like short sleeves shirt,short pants,no skirt at all etc. and bring it to the time you want.Believe it or not this one also turns to a very sexy pantsuit!It  comes in 3 other colors,red,black and latte and each one of them has its own unique skirt design.

The hair worn here is Magika Classy in black.The Hummingbird is my pet for months from Animania.

The place is Avaria Sav ,a fantasy land with dragons and other creatures…hehe
